ONDA

Meditation music, with the attention left to you

ONDA Stillness is open, spacious ambient music for meditation, breathwork, yoga and quiet pauses. Long chords over a steady low note, with an occasional bell, and no voice or guidance: the attention stays yours. It is composed live on your device and never loops, so a twenty-minute sit and a two-hour retreat sound equally unbroken.

What does it sound like?

Very slow harmony that opens rather than resolves, a held note underneath and bells that arrive rarely and fade for a long time. Open Space, Sacred Void and Tibetan Resonance are the three Stillness soundscapes; Tibetan Resonance leans on bowl-like tones.

No voice, no app telling you what to do

Guided meditation apps talk you through a session. ONDA does not speak at all. It is a sound environment for whatever practice you already have, or for simply sitting with your eyes closed and following the ring of light with your breath.

Steady rhythms and the Schumann resonance

In every space you can add a Steady program: one gentle rhythm held inside the music, such as 7.83 per second, the Schumann resonance. It is offered as sound, nothing more. Programs add subtle sound modulation based on a frequency sequence from our own library, first made for frequency-wellness devices. They do not generate PEMF and have not been shown to reproduce the effects proposed for those devices. You can switch to the music alone at any time.

Questions

Is ONDA a guided meditation app?

No. There is no voice and no instruction, only music. Use it alongside your own practice or a teacher.

Does the music loop?

No. ONDA chooses every chord and phrase as it plays, so an hour in it still has not repeated itself. There is no file to come to the end of.

Can I set a meditation timer?

Yes. Set 30, 60 or 120 minutes and the music fades out at the end of the session.

Is ONDA free?

Yes, during the preview. You can listen for 10 minutes straight away with no sign-up, then create a free account with just an email address to keep listening.
